London & Milan Fashion Weeks 2016

Following my Fashion Week post theme, we are onto discussing London and Milan fashion week. These fashion weeks were held a week apart from each other.

Sadly to say there was only one show that I currently liked from the London shows. I like Burberry, Mulberry, and Whistles shows but, this year they left something to be desired for me. I'm a huge fan of Temperley London and their show did not disappoint me this year.

I loved the intricate details in all of their looks. I also loved how they mixed fabrics and prints.

From the Milan shows I was only drawn to the Dolce & Gabbana Show. I'm not a huge fan of the Italian fashion houses so it didn't surprise me that I only liked one show. D&G is great at mixing prints, textures, and different styles all into one show. I think they did a great job this season.

New York Fashion Week 2016

This is the start of my fashion week posts. The fashion world is currently focused on Paris Fashion week; however, I need to catch up on here with all of you! New York Fashion Week was 3 weeks ago now but I still want to share my favorite shows with you. As always I have my favorite Designers like Oscar de la Renta, Jenny Packham, and Kate Spade NY; but there are also a few other shows that caught my attention! Due to my list of favorites being so long I'm only going to share my favorite look from each collection with you.

Tuesday- Favorite Pre-Fall 2015 Collections

The last few weeks we have seen Pre-Fall 2015 collections from various Fashion Houses. I have looked through them all and have so many favorites this coming fall, that it was hard for me to narrow down what to put in this post.  I've noticed a few different trends that we will be seeing Fall 2015. A lot of bohemian prints, embellishments, and the resurgent of the hourglass shape. Of course there were still a few Designers who still focused on minimal dressing but most of them have gone back to over doing it!

I loved the showing of over dressed pants. Whether it was jumpsuits or trousers, pants were shown as dressy pieces rather than weekend wear!

Lela Rose

Elie Saab

Jenny Packham

I also couldn't contain my excitement to see all the dresses and gowns that were shown! I loved the contrast of structured and flowy dresses in all of the collections.
