I saw this picture of  Reese Witherspoon the other day and I loved how simple yet put together her outfit was. I used this photo as inspiration for a look. I however changed the pants from Jeans to Trousers so it would be a more work appropriate look. I also added some more color with the shirt.

What I Wore Wednesday- A Snowy Day

It has finally snowed! I personally love snow; however, not so much the cold. Since it has snowed and I am working today, I need to be able to move around a lot and still warm. What's better than a furry sweater and jean leggings? I have had these pants for a couple of years so I'm not sure where they are from exactly. I believe it might be JCPenny or WalMart.

What I Wore Wednesday- Comfy Sweater Dress

This outfit is actually from last week when I took the train to visit my friends in Philly. It was freezing out plus I just wanted to be comfy and warm. I didn't take that many pictures for this but I got this one. Sorry!

Fashion Friday- Fall/Winter Shoes

Since the colder weather has come I have taken to wearing my favorite shoes... Boots! I love how they go with so many different outfits and, best of all, they keep your feet warm. These are a three of my most loved pairs.

My pair that I wear the most, and you will be able to tell by how worn in they are, are a pair of black tall boots. They go to just under my knee. I wear these with everything: leggings, skinny jeans, mid thigh length skirts and dresses.

Next pair are brown mid-calf tall boots. I got these last year for Christmas. I don't wear that much brown so these are still in pretty good condition. These you can wear much like the above boots however, you can wear these with skirts that are a bit longer (to the knee).

Finally, my new favorite shoes in general, are a pair of black ankle boots. These boots are great because you can wear them fall through spring. I style these with skinny jeans, sometimes cuffed, sometimes not, depends on the mood. I also wear these boots with skirts/dresses that are mid thigh. When I wear these with skirts/dresses I usually wear tights and cute frilly ankle socks.

*Note: When wearing tall boots wear trouser socks, or tall socks in general to tuck your pants into. This will stop them from bunching at the top of your boots.
